In January Estonian Air carried altogether 32,259 passengers, 29,508 of these on regular flights. The total number of passengers decreased 14.4% y-o-y, on regular flights 10.5%.
In January the market share of Estonian Air in the regular flights segment at Tallinn Airport was 39%, which is 1.5 percentage points lower y-o-y. The total market share (regular and charter flights) was 36.4%, which is 1.6 percentage points lower y-o-y.
Estonian Air is among the most punctual air carriers in Europe. In January the regularityof Estonian Air was 99.2% and the 15-minute punctuality was 85.1%. In January Estonian Air operated 700 flights, which is 7.7 % less flights y-o-y.
January was for Estonian Air a significant month when Estonian Air and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines signed a code share cooperation, according to which Estonian Air started first time in its history flying between two capitals outside its home market.
