Until January 30, LIGHT FESTIVAL, Tallinn

January 19-24, FIGURE SKATING EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP 2010, Tallinn Saku Suurhall
For the first time, The Figure Skating European Championship 2010, will take place in Estonia. The best figure skaters of Europe are coming, among whom many are taking part in Olympics in Vancouver just one month later. www.uisuliit.ee

January 27- February 4, BRIAN MELVIN EAST-WEST RHYTHM BAND, 3 concerts throughout Estonia
Different drums are at the heart of the band led by percussionist, band leader, jazz and world musician Brian Melvin. January 29-31, DOCPOINT TALLINN 2010, Kumu Art Museum Auditorium, Tallinn
DocPoint is the first Finnish film festival dedicated only to documentaries. The international programme contains of new documentaries as well as old classics. January 29-February 06, BAROQUE MUSIC FESTIVAL 2010, different places

February 17 – 21, PÄRNU 6TH WINTER SCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM "ICICLE 2010", Pärnu city area
Under the eyes of the city folk, teams of sculptors will carve out all sorts of ice sculptures from ice blocks.

February 18 – 21, MUSIC FESTIVAL 'PERFECT SILENCE', Tallinn

February 21, 39th TARTU SKI MARATHON
The Tartu Ski Marathon is the top winter sports event in Estonia and attracts participants from all over the world. In addition to the main race, the programme also contains a 31 km short race, open track ski races on previous days, MINImaraton for children, Park Competition for top skiers and Tartu Marathon Women’s Race. February 24, RAMMSTEIN, Saku Arena, Tallinn
After a four-year break the German industrial rock cult band Rammstein has produced a new album and in the framework of its presentation tour in Europe in February the band will be back in Tallinn.

March 20, MADE IN ESTONIA MARATHON, Tallinn
Almost all the local dancers, choreographers, producers, actors and musicians will present their brand new short stagings, films and performances made especially for this event. www.saal.ee

March 21, GEORG OTS 90, Estonian National Opera, Tallinn
The Estonian National Opera celebrates the 90th anniversary of Georg Ots – the most famous and admired Estonian singer. Gabriel Suovanen (Finland), Samsons Izjumovs (Latvia), Sergey Leiferkus (Russia) and the soloists of the Estonian National Opera – Jassi Zahharov, Rauno Elp, Aare Saal, etc will perform in memory of the famous baritone. March 22 – 27, ESTONIAN MUSIC DAYS 2010, Tallinn
The festival will feature the freshest works by Estonian composers, accompanied by various musicians and collectives. April 4, ELINA GARANCA AND LATVIAN NATIONAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, Tallinn Solaris Centre
The Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and conductor Karel Mark Sison (United Kingdom) perform at the concert. July 10-11, KIRUVERE MUINASLAAGER, Kiruvere village, Harjumaa
Kiruvere Muinaslaager is a gathering of re-enactors and enthusiasts of Iron Age, whose goal is to reconstruct the specific historical period of Estonia and its surrounding areas, relied upon the studies of archaeologists and historians. The historical period of Kiruvere Muinaslaager is set between the 9th and 12th century AD (roughly the years 850-1150 AD) and geographically centred on Estonia. www.kiruvere.ee
